Spicy meatballs
Ingredients
- 700g lean minced beef
- 1 large clove of garlic crushed in a little salt
- 5g ground cumin
- 5g coriander
- 15g nutmeg
- 15g chilli powder
- 15g ground cloves
- salt and ground black pepper
Method
- Mix mincemeat and all spices together with 1 large or two small eggs
- For the Turkish/Greek Kofte example, mix 75mls of water with 100mls of creamy white plain yoghurt, coat meatballs and roast for 20-30 minutes in a medium hot oven
- Or roast without yoghurt and treat as spicy meatballs!
