Burrito's Filling


  • 50ml olive oil
  • 500g of ground/minced beef
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 50g of cooked red chilli beans
  • teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 15g of chilli powder
  • ground black pepper and salt to season


  1. Heat olive oil. fry off onions with minced beef and chopped peppers, when cooked, add tomatoes and other spices and simmer for 10 minutes, add kidney beans and simmer for further 10 mins
  2. Take tortilla, add chilli mixture to tortilla wrap and roll and place in baking dish, put wrapped burrito in dish, spread tomato passata on wrap, sprinkle grated cheese and bake for 10 mins in medium oven, serve on warm plate and enjoy!
